The commercial is awesome. It's like most Superbowl commercials these days (ie. any car ad) and it poked fun at everything people already think of those idiots who wait in line for a new phone. At the end of the day, the product is a phone tablet which I don't think will work, but the commercial is great imo.
fun fact most styluses don't work on smartphone screens
the ones that do have this puffy ball shit instead of a thin stylus like you'd expect and cost around 20-40$
True, they can be puffy. I'm assuming they emulate the tactility of a fingertip to register on a touchscreen. I've got a couple - a Targus to bash away in gesture games on iOS (which is far less distracting than my fat fingers on the screen), and a Pogo Sketch Pro for clients to sign PDF files (so they don't confuse the ends and scratch my screen!). Both are serviceable, but not exceptional.
do you know how much i wanted a pen on todays phones so i can draw stuff on the go
Alot actually, but the utility of this is still going to depend on how well it actually works and its price.
I am dead serious when I say though that if this really works... This > every other tablet/mobile device including iPhone/iPad.
I carry around a tablet so I can have all my notes/drawings/etc in one spot instead of in 10 binders. This means I don't even have to draft them anymore, I can just put that shit right in my phone because I can actually draw a complex model.
I know, as ant1 pointed out, other styluses are available... None of them though, even the good ones, are built to work naitively across everything, and the good ones are pretty expensive.
This, theoretically, is a high end naitve stylus packaged with my device. Meaning its cost to me is theoretically $0 (assuming its price is comparable to what I am looking at). Hard to beat.
Gauss's Piracy Uncertainty Principle: When you pirate a game, that act inherently changes the results of what is to come after your pirating. You can't make any statement with any certainty regarding what would have happened had you not pirated the game.
Gauss's Rating Rationale:
0-1: A game whose very existence is abhorrent to all things creative and intelligent.
2-4: A just plain bad game.
5-6: A game that has alot of mistakes, but is atleast playable and has some enjoyable sections. Good for a rent.
7: An average game, should be played at some point
8: A good game, should buy at some point
9: A great game, day-one purchase
10: A game that goes above and beyond the generation, its transcendent.
