Thanks for this. I already have 100% and was going to tackle this tonight. I'll make sure my cloud save is up to date before putting it in.

That's bad news. I'm not trying to play it all over again right now. I may just wait to play DLC later.

I installed this last night and nothing bad happened to my game. Everything was still 100% and all my progress was still actually completed. Now note that I preordered my copy from Gamestop and got the Mayan Ruins with that in a code. I don't know if that may have anything to do with but its something to consider. I hope everyone elses works out fine.

Yeah, it's like all of the other bugs in this game - it may happen to you or it may not. Just thought folks would want to be aware, especially since there's no incentive to do this DLC from a trophy perspective.

A small update I saw on gameinformer

A number of users are reporting that after downloading the latest Assassin's Creed III content, Hidden Secrets Pack, that the game has erased mission progress and reset other stats.Ubisoft was quick to respond with the issue, saying on its forums, "Just a quick heads up, we're able to reproduce this issue at the studio and are working on a fix/workaround. From what we can tell, this problem seems to be rare and should generally only affect a very small number of players. That said, we're taking the speedy and complete resolution of this very seriously."
The publisher then offered tips on avoiding the bug. "Do not load your saved AC3 game while the DLC is downloading in the background. This appears to be the key trigger for this bug. You can do anything else you want to do, just don't load up your saved game and play it while the DLC is downloading."

Wow Ubisoft. They have lost a LOT of my respect because of this game, and what they have done to the AC franchise.
Not to mention that I am done with AC completely after the abomination that was AC3.

This really shouldn't be. Lets go Ubisoft, get your act together...you're making the Canadian gaming industry look bad

On another note, I have never started up a game during an update, whether it be game, store or system.

I understand there are updates as soon as you insert a disc, but never has it been the case where I lose all my information.
