They get annoying if there is two-three of them coming at you at the same time. On my way to Platinum I've met like 400 of them, especially when I was waiting for the tax collector, I knocked out all the civilians on the floor using counter, and then just stood there waiting for them. When all the civilians are down, no more will spawn except templar stalkers. I once also had one spawn on top of a pillar, which made it look pretty funny. Yeah they are a nice addition to the game, but they do keep you on your toes. Listen to the whispers > WHISPERS IN THE DARK.
