this trophy is a pain in the ass. What a huge difference from the first game to the Arkham city those 3 extra moves makes......i'm sure i'll get it eventually but i'm having a hell of a time knocking this one out. And, is it just me, or does it seem like they've made getting the plat on this one 10x harder than on Arkham Asylum?

It's just you... This Plat was 10x EASIER than AA. None of the combat challenges were anywhere near as hard and the pred challenges only really had 1 hard one. Even this trophy isnt anywhere near as hard as some of the challenges from the first game. Suck it up fool!

I'm pretty close to the platinum and I have to say that I agree that it seems a lot easier this time around. I don't know if it's because the challenges are actually easier or if I'm just more skilled with the mechanics after playing AA. The combat challenges are very easy - a couple of the predator challenges are pretty tough.

This trophy in particular wasn't too difficult. I did it on the Joker's Carnival map because the enemies respawn.

Ok guys, i actually got this one knocked out - and, tbh I don't think the video is right that is posted - when I did mine for the trophy i actually did NOT use the batclam slam. What they are missing is the L1 quick batarang - everything else is legit. I'll post the link from the youtube video I watched for mine. And agreed, Survival of the fittest round 3 or 4 is the best candidate. There are very few shield/armored guys and no mini-bosses (Titan's/one armed ******s) -

here's the link for the video. Batman Arkham City: Perfect Freeflow 2.0 Achievement - YouTube

Pretty sure the batarang is a gadget. I've seen the trophy pop on several videos without the batarang.

the batarang is a gadget - the batclam slam is also a gadget - i've done an entire round where i've ONLY used the batclam slam and i get the 1 gadget variation (the same thing w/ the batarang) - I dunno - maybe it's either or. All I know is that when I did mine, I definately DID use the L1 combo batarang

Just wanted to put this out there for those of you that are trying to get this trophy. A good place to earn this is under Riddlers Challenges -> Campaign Medals -> Hostile Takeover (challenge). Once selected, make sure you choose the "SUPER POWERED" option only and start game. Super Powered allows you to punch through shields, armor and tasers without getting blocked. You should aim to get the trophy in the first round. If you fail, retry. There's no need for the 2nd, 3rd or 4th rounds cos you only face more enemies and are more likely to lose your combo. Once you've practiced and are familiar with all the combat moves, you will definetely get this trophy.

    Hope this helps.

You could do this during the joker carnival challenge, unlimited people to beat down.

What is this ?? is it a new DLC survival ?? where do you get it from ??

And yes this harder than AA because of the predator challenges its shocking how much damage you receive and you can get detected very fast there is not much place for error. IMO combat challenges in AA werent so bad once you have learnt the system.

The Perfect Freeflow will come naturally also if you are used to experiment with batman's moves every time you fight it will be natural to perform it every round in combat challenges to rack your scores .

another tip (not really a tip) is to save followed by for the last standing man (he have to be without a shield)

It came with pre-ordering Arkham City from Gamestop. I personally don't know when/if it will be available as DLC. I'm sure it will if it hasn't already.

Grrr. I can see this trophy being an equal challenge as the combat challenges themselves were on the last damn game. I have tried for nearly an hour just today to try get this award to pop but nope, 11x only no matter how many times i try, I can't get this to pop up!

My question about this concerns the beat down X8. Does it have to be on the same person or is it accumulative?

The best method I used is this

I did it in the second combo challenge that was in powerpyx video, I only focused on the basics punch, stun, ultra stun, one gadget, etc. I did all of those while I was on combo reflex so the enemies moved really slow so it was easy to do it without getting interrupted. After I got all the normal moves done I focused on the ones that require you to press + or + and then your done.
