    PS3 was released 5 years ago. I can pick up a PS3 now for around 160 and if I want a bigger HD I can pick up a 500GB HD for an extra 30 and it will last me, and run whatever games comes out for it, and I don't have to upgrade it at any point. In those last 5 years how many PC gamers would have had to upgrade atleast something at one point or another just to play games these days at optimal level?

    If thats the mindset of PC gamers acording to you then for the sake of the argument I could do the same for PS3 games.

    So on a hardware standpoint with what you said:

    - Console gaming = 200/$311 max

    - Custom built gaming PC that can play anything on the market at highest settings: 513/$800 max

    As far as casual gaming side of things go, console gaming is still affordable.

    not surprising considering how expensive it is to upgrade the pc. personally i will save up for a gaming pc for college XD

    i was able to run the game with textures and terrain on ultra setting with all other setting on high except post filtering or whatever on medium and x2 mlaa anti aliasing
    max anisotropic filtering x16
    this in 720p resolution it looks awesome
    i get around 40 fps

    soon ill be upgrading so i can play in 1080p

    Im glad to say i can run on ultra settings with 60 fps
    heres me photo of it.
