I have a 50" and my longest is 107m, lol! But I've only played as Recon once. Need to up my game I think =]

895m on Operation Firestorm: Conquest. Used the M93B with 12x Ballistic + Bipod, shooting from one sniper mountain (behind A) to the other (behind C). Once you get the hang of it, shots around 100m ~ 400m actually start to get a lot more consistent.

For those wondering how you do it, its part skill (in knowing the bullet drop), part luck (having your enemy be in the right spot, and stay still long enough to take the hit). If you're going for long range headshots, you'll likely only get a few kills in the entire round. It becomes a lot easier when your team is good enough to suppress the opposing team into a single flag/their deployment.

Its so much easier to be spotted in BF3 though. Seems that no matter what kind of cover and angle you have, your scope always gives the flash. You almost HAVE to create a LOT of distance to not be noticed right off the bat.

I love sitting on the aircraft carrier in rush, the stage with the dock. I usually get like 399 -440 marksmans points headshots with the M40. If my team doesnt take the objectives I sometimes get mvp award with seven or eight kills.
I fell in love with the m40 in Bad Company 2 veitnam dlc. However, battlefeild 3 you cant shoot fences and trees down, which is aggravating

I seem to like using the one shot rifles with bipods

791 meters.. which is only 2,595.14 feet and even worse only 0.49 of a mile and that was with m98 w ballistic 12x bipod...
Thx for the locations on some further shots Ive been playin around with different places kinda hard to find and the reason they can do it on pc is bc the maps are 10 the size of consoles too.. but this shit was on the very tippy top right before the Xzone on Kharg Island to the left of A top of the range and I shot the guy running on top of the building on D what made my shot cool for me is that I caught him running to jump off the side and my shot hit him mid jump headshot over the side which was tight.. but today Ima work for 1000k mark now that I think we might have a .50cal... I heard..

Recently got a 293m headshot while playing as Defenders, Rush on Damavand Peak.

Update: Got a 441m headshot sniping from on top of the mountain at the US spawn while playing Conquest on Operation Firestorm.

Another update: Got a 451m headshot sniping from behind C flag (Train Yard) to the US Deployment (the guy was on top of the Aircraft Carrier/Amphibious Assault Ship, w/e you want to call it waiting for a helicopter xD)
