And besides even if it is true then what's so bad about it?
They've already finished and polished up the campaign so the multiplayer wouldn't be tacked on.
Oh and for the record this has been confirmed to be the last bioshock game so they might as well make it a memorable one with lots of replay value.

I actually think multiplayer could work in this game if it utilizes the slyrail feature.

I know others do, and I will play the game even if it has a multiplayer, I'm not going to storm up to 2K and ask Kevin Levine to take out the multiplayer (If it have one) in my opinion I just don't want multiplayer in this game

They said they delayed it because they found a new element to the game that they want to explore. Whether or not it is multiplayer is not confirmed. Hopefully not for the sake of the best single player campaign possible.

its possible...and I don't really have a problem with it, as long as I wont have to go though the same trouble I had to with Bioshock 2 multi

had to buy the DLC so I could go into "prestige" just to get my lost multiplayer trophies back again

I didn't mind it either, but I could've done without it myself. I did that legit and it took forever. It was fun, but I would could care less if they added it to Infinite or not. Guess we'll see.
