meanwhile in awesome things, regen health is replaced with medkits, "Consoleization" can be turned off in the PC version, and 1999 mode is only enabled by cheat.

the demure look is working for me, and for a preview of a game a few months away that article seems a lot more like a review

it's because of Psychological Reinforcement, it's the new "paid reviews" of the industry.

This article is based on a press trip to Los Angeles. 2K Games paid for travel (from Portland, Oregon) and accommodation.
"wow this game company paid for everything so i can play the game, i shouldn't be a ass and say mean things about it"

Heres hoping its just a different part of the game, or some sort of effect caused by the choices you've made .. because the first design is hands down much better in my opinion anyways

Thanks to Dsluckay for the signature and Avatar

Hm, I like the look of the older design better, but I don't mind the new one. And sexual appeal matters because we dudes are pervs. Plus looking at an ugly NPC kind of ruins the design.

Some people didn't seem to read the article very well.

It appears from what they are saying is that what gifts and decisions you take with Elizabeth shapes what her aesthetics and clothing ends up being (possibly). It is quite possible that the slight differences are also just a time differential that takes place within in the game itself, and that perhaps ages.

I for one think that the character is likely to evolve, and am happy to see that along with just her demeanor and style, that her overall appearance changes as she soaks in the outside world. We've seen that using NPCs as a manner of exposition and storytelling is a very valid way of expanding upon story and the world in a way that a protagonist couldn't dream of.

I'd withhold my fist shaking, and cursing until we see Elizabeth and her actual story, before we yell at Irrational for changing up the design and deeming them horrible failures because the girl has slight changes. I doubt Anna Moleva would have been hired as the live-action Elizabeth if we weren't going to see the character to hold true to the reason she was hired.

I can't believe that one screenshot could cause all this gross over reaction, but alas, it's the internet.

So, no outfit changes are allowed without a "redesign"?
