Didn't know if anyone noticed and didn't see a thread on it but if you go into options you can download the textures into your game. I assume this will help with load times etc but figured I would throw it out there for you all. If anyone knows exactly what it helps with please explain too I'm curious.

Total Awards: 15It's something that's supposed to put less stress on your bluray drive. COD fans complained about past games stressing out their bluray drivess so they came up with this to hopefully help. We did it and it only took a couple minutes. Hopefully it works because MW3 really stressed out my husband's PS3. It always makes the fan run loudly after a couple minutes of playing while no other games do this.

some friends on my list downloaded it and they said the PS3 sounds a lot smoother and like it's not working as Hard I'm dowwnloading mine now.
It is supposed to put less wear and tear on your Blu ray drive so if you do play daily it wouldn't be a bad idea to download it

Doing this now. Mad props for bringing this to attention. I can see this taking quite a while though...lmao. My system is making noise as it installs the textures. Sounds almost like someone sawing wood. xD
