Hard and annoying if your not used to birds eye view, and will require 3 playthroughs as the higher difficulties unlock from the earlier ones

I really didn't find it that hard, prob 6 out of 10. Enjoyable game though

I would rate it 9/10 because of Grim and Morbid difficulties and the annoying loot which can be easily missed.

Total Awards: 10Not sure about that platinum difficultly as I don't have it yet

I came close though, I just got new games and never went back to it
Morbid was getting rather hectic if I remember correctly

Total Awards: 4Playing through the game so many times for the difficulty requirements, you'll get to learn the zombie spawn points and be able to develop a strategy. Many people mentioned that they thought it would be easier to play morbid and grim solo, but I did both runs with a friend, and while challenging, didn't find it all that tough. As mentioned by gamelord, some of the loot can be annoying, but again, as you play the levels over and over again if you explore every area you'll soon learn where they are. Fun game, Plat is a 6.5/10 imo.

I rate the platinum about 5/10. If you're familiar with older twin-stick shooters (like Smash TV), then you wont have any problems here. This is just my personal opinion, but I didn't find it too difficult ...when the game was relatively new, I had to find all loot without a guide, and I was ranked 8th on the Train Yard map.

For me personally, the DLC was extremely boring, so I recommend only doing the core game...even though the DLC is very inexpensive.

Is my honest opinion, why well me and me friend started the game on Normal, found it easy, Grim was annoying and difficult, and Morbid was alot easier than the two previous difficulties since your armor carries across different playthoughs and I had a great understanding of the zombie spawns. Use a guide for the King of Looter trophy
only making the collectibles time consuming. To make Morbid alot easier I would use the armor pieces that maximize your speed because it makes it easier to avoid the cutter since he kills you in 1 hit
, fully upgrade your rifle first(He's your best friend since charge shots own normal zombies), and use the dash if you ever get swarmed.

I'm not sure why people say they have trouble with Morbid. I started this game playing on Grim and it kicked my ass for about the first hour because I was not used to controls, angle, etc. but it got easier as I played. That 1st playthrough was frustrating at a few points but overall nothing unbearable. Once you start Morbid though, your armor carries over and you know exactly what to expect so I found Morbid to be far easier than my 1st playthrough. This game is actually pretty easy in terms of
ing it so I couldn't see anyone giving it over a 6 or 7 in terms of difficulty. I would rate it a 5 personally. Dead Nation is so much fun and you'll find your self playing it well after you
it.

Its funny to see you say that cause I use a completely different setup. I almost never touched the Blade Cannon. I used the Shotty at first but I find I use it less and less everytime I play. As for items, I also use the shit out of mines and grenades but I never touch dynamite and I use flares more than anything. I guess its really all playing style but I totally agree w/ the launcher. That can mess you up pretty quickly in co-op.

Flares are a necessity, so I didn't mention them. Flare + Blade Cannon = win, but the same can be said for practically any weapon in combination with the flares (except Flamethrower and Shocker).
I use my Rifle as my general purpose 'go to' weapon, with my shotgun being used to take out the 'special' zombies (except for Cutters). The Blade Cannon is purely used for crowd control, especially on straight narrow paths like on Train Yard.

I agree with that completely... near the end there's a parking lot full of soldiers and other tough zombies... watch em chase the flare and fire the blade... made it too easy...
I'd say 6/10 for platinum difficulty. I did the tough difficulty alone and the co-op, I made the gf play.

The difficulty really isn't too bad, you just have to replay the levels quite a bit. I think I had an easier go at Morbid than I did the other difficulties, probably because my armor was fully upgraded.

I guess the main reason I don't use the Blade Cannon so much is that recently I've been trying to get up the leaderboards so I try to pick em off one by one when I can to increase the score that much more. The leaderboard and country ranking keeps me going back to that game at least twice a month to try to improve my score.
On another note, I would love to add anyone who's looking to get the best possible score. I love getting a challenge for this game.
