Basically u can copy your hardcore save file to a hdd and if u die just recopy from your hdd into your ps3. This will make hardcore mode much more easier and doable with some reloadings

In DS2 there was no auto-save like it is in this. In DS2 you get only 3 saves in total, in this you get unlimited basically, but you just are not allowed die.

its better to do it using a usb drive, the cloud has limited upload capabilities......i ran into this problem with MoH, plugged in the usb and it has remained there ever since......definately hard(drive)core!!!

Wow now you cant die @ all SMH think the 3 save thing off DS2 was better than not being able to die @ all. Yes the usb might be considered cheating but whatever helps you get the damn trophy. I used this usb trick on bejeweled 2 on the last damn trophy i needed. The timed level and you had to reach level 5 without running out of time and beat level 5 to pop the trophy. And as soon as i got to level 5 i backed out saved to my flash card and reloaded. If i didnt get level 5 done just reboot and copy load. Took around a hr to achieve that damn trophy after trying close to 2yrs to pop without using the flash card

Ok, makes sense. So, there was no way of exiting the game and saving to USB without using one of your 3 saves anyway.

So, in DS3 the game auto saves periodically, but if you die even once what happens? You start from the beginning of the game?

wouldnt mind dying in hardcore mode if the cutscenes are actually skippable this time, between playing through dead space 2 4 times and a few deaths early on in my hardcore run ive probably seen that opening sequence like ten times

Some games disable save copying of any form (PS+ cloud allows it in these cases), so that's where people were coming from.
