    Dragon's Dogma - Your Opinions?

I just wanted to make this thread to hear what other people think about Dragon's Dogma

    Please, *NO SPOILERS*

I bloody love it! It's really addictive and fun - It's not an amazing game, but it is great.

The whole Pawn system is brilliant, I even felt good for equipping someone's pawn with better equipment, and then sending them back with it

It's not without it's flaws of course, but the good outweighs the bad.

So, what do you guys think?

is it actually worth $60 cuz im trying to be a responsible adult and not buy things that are overpriced anymore, havent bought a game for full price in probably about a year, is it repetitive enough where it would make two playthroughs a grind or is the combat varied enough to hold up for 100 hours or so?

I have to say, that I agree with about everything Chambers has said. This game is rough around the edges, but it is very immersive and enjoyable to play.

The pawn system is pretty cool. I have spent way too much time in the rift just choosing which pawns to take with me on my journey.

ferret, I'm in the same boat as you are. I just looked through all my games, and this is the first game I have paid the full $60 for since God of War III. Since I haven't finished the game, I can't say that it was worth the price tag without a shadow of a doubt. However, I am greatly enjoying it at the moment, and it seems that it will offer a load of hours worth of gameplay.

Hot damn this game is hard at times!

I don't wont spoil anything but I just escorted someone MIIILLLEEESSSS awaaaaayyyy. I faced several groups of bandits, a Cyclops with bandits, a Chimera, even more bandits, another Cyclops (but at night), AN ENTIRE FORT FULL OF BANDITS, a Chimera and Harpies, and then a bunch of Goblins and Harpies....

And now I have to go all the way back

    I love it really

The game is awesome I think and im glad I paid 60bucks for it. It was worth the wait even tho it took forever to get here. Plus its not like you are going to blow past the monsters and stuff in this game. I have ran more times in this game, then any other game before. Like to add few times I should had ran and didn't, and it didn't end up good. Love how the pawns system is also.

Looks like a blend of Dark Souls and Skyrim? Is that right?

Wow, 3 hours in and I'm just about to leave the starting village to the encampment. I got so caught up in taking everything from all the house and some side quests. This game is truly awesome.

There's definitely a Skyrim feel to it how there's lots of quests, a big map to explore, and lots of loot.
And Dark Souls, I can see that too, mainly for the sense of achievement when you've defeated a hard foe.

Dragon's Dogma is pretty epic, and very addicting. Can be easy game, BUT also still a challenge. Mostly traveling at night gives you more fight since more enemies will be out and tougher foes.

Also, the pawn feature is really unique and epic. You can download any pawns as long as you're friends with their owner OR you have the RC(rift crystals) to pay for them. You'll have to constantly send them back though and reenlist them once you succeed their level however.

Game does feel a bit Skyrim-isk.. and mixed sorta with Dark Souls combat and some of the boss fights as they can be tough. Massive awesome world to explore and lots of quests and really fun game. Definitely worth the overall price says anyone that has bought it right away.

Slightly repetitive, but you can change your vocation shortways into the game and freshen it up. You can alter your main pawn as well, hence two trophies for this so most trophy hunters will seek that out soon .

You gals/guys, why do you torture me so, say that the game sucks or I will go into withdrawals.
    Hand-bra Jeans

The exposure of the female's soft body. Whether you like it or not, being naked to the waist and the mismatch between the hard and thick jeans. The true essence is the union of girly and boyish styles. At the same time, the hand-bra forces even the current girls that lack shameful feelings to make an embarrassing pose. Depending on how it is seen, it also shows a form of eroticism by making it look like the girls are rubbing their own breasts.

Lmao! The game sucks and you don't want to play it.

    *I lied*

Btw, I hate that rotten sorry scoundrel of a pawn of Chambers. >:F used him once.. he ran and jumped off a cliff into the water and was taken by the Brine >:F >:F >:F. I had to go with only my pawns from then on.
*didn't help he jumped cause I grabbed him and kicked into the water, but not the point of the story*

Loving it so far, huge areas to explore and its giving the players quite a challenge (i.e. bandits at the beginning)
