Are loading times increased as we make progress?

It feels like loading is three times as long since when I started playing. I would, without a doubt, be motivated to play it a lot more, but all of these glitches, freezes, and loading times are just not fun. Doesn't help when all these quests are like...

    1. Talk to Person
    2. Fast travel to City
    LOADING.............................
    4. Enter Inn
    LOADING............
    3. Talk to Person
    4. Exit Inn
    LOADING........................
    5. Fast travel to dungeon
    LOADING........................
    6. Enter Cave
    LOADING................................
    7. Fight, enter next section of dungeon
    LOADING............................
    8. Kill boss, exit dungeon
    LOADING...........................
    9. Fast travel to Person
    LOADING.............................
    10. Enter that person's house
    LOADING...........................
    10. Collect reward

If I'm not at the dungeon, I would just sit in my bed waiting for loading time to be over half the time I'm playing Skyrim. Loading times shouldn't be nearly as much as your play time in a game.

It does seem like my loading times have gotten considerably longer. I was thinking about this today and a feature came to mind that I've been hoping gets added to TES is when you choose to fast travel to a location, you have the option of fast travelling inside/outside that location. It's annoying when you fast travel somewhere, only to enter that location and bear another loading screen. This is where mods come into use, but the loading times are super quick on PC anyway.

Yeah that sort of thing is really annoying and the loading times are quite long, although I don't think they have gotten any worse since I first started playing they could have though

Yea this does get really annoying. Not as bad as deus ex' loading screens though. Those were almost a minute each.
I think it's just the more you play in one sitting the longer they are. Even though that is really stupid.

I believe (could be wrong) loading times have increased post-patch as well as naturally via game progress. My logic being that since the game has to save and then place all the objects/whatever that you have interacted with previously, items left on the ground, stuff kicked, corpses, etc... every time you enter a hold. I know this was a problem in Oblivion too but I played that on PC and yes, mods for cleaning saves and random crap helped tremendously. Hopefully future patches will help ease this pain but console versions are not their strong-suit (I mean really, it's a mannequin...did no one test this?).

I know that I will get the PC version of Skyrim for mods alone; they add so much more content and value to an already exceptional vanilla game. I hold onto that when my game freezes and forces a hard reset of my ps3 after just walking down the road in Solitude.

One trick I have tried is picking up all the random stuff (cups, goblets, baskets, plates, etc...) and selling it to a vendor who will refresh their inventory frequently. I'm not sure if it actually helps but I feel it does.

Loading is so long. You play for a hour but 15mins of the hour is loading if not longer.

oh yeahh that pretty much sums up exactly what happens. i wonder how much time elapses in total load time for me. also, im at the point now where if 3 or more enemies attack me at a time, it gets super laggy
