Skyrim Patch 2.02 PS3 lock-up

Just now I popped in Skyrim and I saw that the patch 2.02 was out. I wanted it to update so I pressed X. Then the screen went black as it normally does and said "Please wait". I waited about 20 seconds and then my PS3 beeped and suddenly restarted. This is the second time it's happened when I've tried to update Skyrim.

Is anyone else having this problem, and if so how can I fix it?

Something similar happened to me when I was downloading the patch for MK. It reseted my system twice! I had to say no to the patch, play a regular game (story mode) then, the patch kicked in automatically. Crazy that certain patches for certain games do this to the system itself.

This happens to me from time to time.......the way that I got it to stop doing it was to wait until the yellow light quit flashing before I clicked on to start the update. I know it is a strange thing to fix it but I'm telling you....try it and it may work for you as well.

It's okay I downloaded the patch and it worked.

I'll leave this thread open just in case anyone else has this problem.

hmm im definately getting this game on pc seems to have less issues
plus has mods epic win

MOD REQUEST: could one of the fora mods, or the thread creator, edit the subject line to clarify that the 2.02 Patch (Europe) is apparently the same as 1.03 (USA) ?
