the only thing that really disturbs me is either watching Real life people/animals die, Needles or sharp objects entering body parts, or shit like this

i can just sit down and watch all sorts of things die all day on movies and tv shows and just laugh at it because its fake and too corny. the moment i see it in real life and it's a genuine death i feel terrible over it.

Just finished reading it and I personally found the horror throughout quite tame. The story was still enjoyable though and the relationship between Shuichi and Kirie kept me reading until the end, just a shame the ending was a bit of a let down. I also felt that a few sections of the story were dragged out a bit and it broke up the overall pacing to much for my liking. Still, I had fun reading it, that's all that counts.

And whatever happened to the mosquito women? They just vanished and were never mentioned again, which is a bit shit.

And this seems real to you? Because I can't even understand how this isn't the fake/corny shit. This entire manga is not horrendously different from a book like American Psycho in terms of violence. Yeah, American Psycho had an intelligent narrative going on; this one didn't, but from the violence standpoint this might as well be apples and apples.

Its ultra-violence on the borderline of violence-porn though. Its one big spectacle of gore, the entire manga.

The violence depicted in in American Psycho was drawn out. All the different ways he could do with a women corpse. This violence here is surely brutal and detailed. But the focus ain´t on all the different ways a human can die in Uzumaki. Is more about frightening you. AP tried to make you sick.
