    Cancelled Shows

What TV shows needed more seasons?

What TV shows that got more seasons after their cancellation, shouldn't have?

    Cancelled too early.

    • Freaks and Geeks (At least the last episode was good enough for a finale)
    Should've stayed cancelled.
    • Family Guy (Would've stayed strong)
    • Futurama (Went downhill after it was brought back, which is a shame because it was one of the only animated shows that could get away with sad endings (Jurassic Bark))
    Should've been cancelled.
    • The Simpsons (Season 11 should've been it's final season, it's been a joke of itself for the last twelve seasons)

I agree with Freaks and Geeks being cancelled too early along with Undeclared.

Some other shows I wish would've stayed on longer are Heroes (to wrap up that god awful 4th season storyline), Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, and a show that came on ABC around the time Lost started, it was about these aliens in the water.. I think it was called Invasion?

Life and Jericho should not have been canceled!!!! I also would have LOVED for LOST to continue although it seemed they were being creative like they were the first couple seasons. Oh MAN what about Trippin The Rift ending after a movie and 2 seasons that show was siiiiick

I feel NCIS should have been over with long ago.

    Obligatory Firefly mention.

I also have to say Boston Legal. One of the best shows ever, sadly cut down in its prime (it was given the chance to wrap-up at least, so I guess there's that...).

Alcatraz and Human Target are two shows I really liked that were cancelled to soon. Both were on Monday nights opposite MNF so neither really had a chance.

I heard the Lost writers didn't know where they were taking certain things as they wrote em. That's why they were left unexplained. Sounds like some lazy writing to me

Yep, they actually made it up as they went, unlike most shows which usually have a narrative vision or end-goal.

I'd say Jericho, but in the end that got a nice wrap-up.

As for the ones that should've been can'd, I agree with both Futurama and The Simpsons, although one could argue when that one should've been cancelled.

Explains a lot of the shittyness in that script.

I'm absolutely loving almost human. This type of show should last multiple seasons.

I'm still mourning Young Justice. That show was top. Funny, great action scenes, great characters, the works. They also ended it all on a cliffhanger, which is an extra kick to the gut.

for that year there was the hurricane version of invasion of the body Snatcher that was called invasion
Invasion (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

but there was also the Series Surface Surface (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Terminator SCC should have stayed on longer hat show was cancelled because they went for the cheaper show to give a another season to Dollhouse

incidentally they have a new Terminator TV series in the works to conicide with the Movie Reboot.

Skydance Productions and Annapurna Pictures were developing a new Terminator TV series. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who had worked on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles together, were named as writers and executive producers. The series will deviate from the franchise's history at a critical moment in The Terminator (1984), and integrate with the continuity of a projected movie-series reboot
