This thread is first and foremost a discussion thread, but it also has a poll. Please do not vote in the poll until you have earned the platinum trophy for this game. That being said, we invite you to post below and discuss the difficult aspects of the game, even if you do not yet have the platinum trophy in your collection.
When you post, give more than just a number. Give reasons why you feel the game is easy or hard. What parts of the game are easy or hard? Were there collectibles? Were they a pain? Is there a required online component? How easy or hard is the online portion? What is the most frustrating part about the game?
Once you have obtained the platinum trophy, feel free to return to this thread and post your official vote. Say something to the effect of "I give this a 2 because there was only one tough spot and the collectibles were easy to find". At this point, you may also add your vote to the poll.
The poll is public, meaning everyone can see how you vote.

2 easy It's time consuming and hardcore mode is really just an inconvenience but otherwise nothing is really hard.

Moderate - 'Hardcore' mode made you really want to organize everything since ammo had weight... it was just time consuming.

I would've like to give it a 2.5, but I can't say it warrants a 3. It's tedious and certain trophies are a grind, but overall it's not a difficult game.

I went with moderate. I think this game more than anything else was time consuming. Hardcore mode was easier than I thought it would be and as far as I remember I didn't have much trouble with the weight of my items, I remember just always needing water. The Courier Who Broke the Bank was a pain because of the amount of caps you had to win to get kicked out of all the casinos but besides that the trophies weren't too hard.

This one probably would have been an easy, but due to you having to get 4 different endings, having to do one play on the new Hardcore mode (which is like softcore, with minor annoyances to your inventory). This is just one of those games that is going to take a few weeks instead of a few days to get the Platinum, so set aside some time and get ready for it. The trophies are somewhat fun to get, making you do a lot of the games quests, and experiment with all the weapon types it has to offer. A fun Platinum (if you don't mind occasional freezes), just not a quick one.

the 10000 trophies were time consuming but nothing hard about it and some were fun to like the explosive and damage ones since i just kill everyone then reload save haha

Moderate and a bit harder than Fallout 3. For one thing - the monsters don't scale with level, rather have a preset level. Also some f***** annoying trophies are purely luck based (like the casino ones). Otherwise nothing too hard, yet still time consuming.
SPOILER ALERT
A tip for everyone who thinks of getting this: start the game on hardcore, use the goodsprings XP glitch to get yourself to lvl30 and just run and do the main quest only, and finish the game with any of the endings (I'd say go for Mr. House, it's probably the fastest) Once you're done and you have "Hardcore!" trophy - start a new game, and enjoy it fully, without exploits. Just remember to make several saves as soon as you kill Benny, to get to different endings.

the casino ones arent luck based really if you put points into luck skill winning is so easy the odds are always in your favour plus you can also go to that surgeon add a extra skill point to luck if you have low luck i didnt need to
winning was so easy and i can tell the difference compared to red dead redemption you have a way higher chance of losing in red dead compared to new vegas thanks to that luck skill helping you easily win

Hard. Although it's not a really challenging game, you still have to keep track of what you're doing. Because of the many bugs, some quests might be unfinish-able, losing out on a trophy.

Easy (not counting game ruining glitches). Had to restart my game to Plat this. And re 100%, some Gun Runners challenges are a real grind, or next to impossible with a completed game save.

Easy - Nothing remotely hard in getting this plat.

3/5 - Moderate
The main game is shorter and there are less side-missions that give trophies than in F3. Hardcore is easier than it sounds. The only annoying trophies were the 10.000 damage point trophies (especially Desert Survivalist). The Courier Who Broke the Bank was also a grind. The collectibles are way easier to find than those in F3 though.

moderate. it was definitely fun, though. with the level cap being raised so many times almost all of my skills were 100 so the damage trophies weren't too hard at all, i just hate how you have to do all the different endings and how you can't continue on after the main story. i also liked all of the dlc. i plat'd the game once, but 100% the trophy list four seperate times. xD

I would say moderate, biggest challenge would be beating the game on hardcore mode, otherwise the rest of the trophies just come with playing the game. Some of them are a little tougher depending on your game style (Old time brawler, desert survivalist) but with a couple playthroughs, one being more of a unarmed and survival character you'll be in good shape.
One of the big things I've found with this game is to make sure your speech is very high, makes getting through quests a lot easier if you can talk your way out of things.
