Haha I know how you feel, I'm the same.
I can't believe they've announced this and they can't even give us a screenshot or anything. Just give us something please.
It wasn't long before they announced this that I was going to re-buy a PS2 so I could play X and XII. My girlfriend had been playing XIII and I wanted to show her X because I feel like it is the best in the series for newcomers. I put it off because I heard about this.
X is one of my favs and I really can't wait for it. I'm more excited for this than most of the actual current gen games. The other HD remakes haven't taken the piss like this has. Square needs to get it's house in order, forget bollocks like XIII-2, release Versus and give us this followed by a XII HD release.

Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event taking place in Shibuya from August 31st to September 2nd.
If no news, then I think FFX HD is near enough dead.
Then if no news at the Tokyo Game Show later on, I'll get the spade.
The 2012 Tokyo Game Show will run from Sept. 20 to Sept. 23, with the first two days being business days. The last two are public.

Final Fantasy producer Shinji Hashimoto and Square Enix said that there hasn't been any news on the upcoming Final Fantasy X high-definition re-release slated for the PS Vita and PS3.
When asked by GameSpot during a Southeast Asian Final Fantasy media tour, Hashimoto and Square Enix simply stated "no comment" on their part. The company has yet to officially announce anything else on the project at this point in time for the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event on the weekend of September 1.
In related news, Shinji Hashimoto and Square Enix also commented that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still progressing fine. For more information on Final Fantasy X, check out GameSpot's review.

If we don't hear nothing at this years Tokyo Game Show which is held from Today onwards then I've given up on FFX HD.

Remember guys its Square-Enix. Once they announce something you usually have to wait about 15 years on average to get it.
On a serious note, I too am hoping for a scrap of news concerning FFX-HD, but I'm not holding my breath.

Final Fantasy X HD Still in Development - IGN
Final Fantasy X HD Still in Development
The game’s not dead after all!
by Colin Moriarty
OCTOBER 17, 2012
If there was one announcement that was more exciting than any other emerging from Tokyo Game Show in 2011, it was the revelation that Final Fantasy X would be getting the HD treatment, and would be coming exclusively to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
But ever since its reveal (in which we only saw a logo), we’ve heard pretty much nothing about it apart from a couple of passing comments that Final Fantasy X HD wasn’t a remake, but a remaster.
Thankfully, we now have more news, though it’s basically just a reaffirmation that the game hasn’t been abandoned, which has been the recent speculation concerning the PS3/Vita crossplay game. Jeremy Parish of our sister site
This should come as at least mild reassurance that Square Enix didn’t get ahead of itself with its 2011 TGS announcement, and that gamers will be playing Final Fantasy X HD on their PlayStation 3s and PlayStation Vitas eventually, though likely later as opposed to sooner.notes that when he went to TGS and spoke to an unnamed Square Enix employee, he was told that the game “is still in the works.”

FFVII won't be remastered there's been buzz of this since the PS2 launch... if it were to happen... it would have by now... however seeing X X-2 and XII get HD touch ups would be keen

Total Awards: 11As desperate as i am for this game, i would prefer they take there time with it just so i can remember it the way it was which was awesome of course. This is also one of few games that my girlfriend would actually miver me to play back in the day as she loved the game and didn't mind sitting there watching me for hours playing it.
