You should have a Durable Collectors Catalog equipped on both Noel and Serah so that you can increase the amount of gil drop. If you want more, you can infuse a monster with Gilfinder II ability to your monsters. I think you don't have those accessories so that's why Don Tonberry only dropped 6000 gil.
As for Raspatil, you can find it on the beach.

Collectors Catalog(None of the shops sells them or what monster drops them or did I rushed the game).

@ Mellerker, you can gain all the Collectors Catalogs you'll ever need via chocobo racing. Raise the silver chocobo with all "potent" monster materials and infuse him with a level 24 micro ochu, lvl 1 Pulswork Gladiator, and level 8 Flandit...(possible a cactuar if you so please)

Thanks for the advice and not sure I can't seem to get silver chocobo or did I already capture him or is it a one time thing.

He's hidden in the big green orb in the reserch facility in Academia 4XX, if you have improved moogle throw, just toss mog in that a few times and you'll get it. I got it my first try on the lower level, so maybe try that first...

But YET AGAIN(for like the 5th and last time)! If your going to build up a silver chocobo for racing your better off earning the 10k casino coins thru racing. But don't listen and waste your time if that's your initiative...

Also if you have completed Chapter 5 go back to the Fragment skills lady to learn and equip the bargin hunter skill this will lower the cost of every buyable item in the game by 25% so those 10,000 casino coins instantly become 7,500 which leaves you with 2,500 extra to buy items of a quick start on buying another fragment.

I also thought I had gone through and gotten all the Wild Artefacts but needed one more. Turns out I hadn't completed all the quests in Yaschas Massif (100AF) so I didn't have the time rift. Anyway what I did was watch the above youtube and double checked my fragments that went along with most of the Artefacts. I didn't have the fragment - Book of Shambala. So there you go. You get that one with the Wild Artefact in Yaschas Massif. Hope this helps!
