    It's been a while since Amazon offered up big pre-order credits for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC game pre-orders. However, the retailer jumped back into that mode Thursday with promo offers on "Dead Space 3", "Crysis 3", "Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel" and "Sim City".

    For a limited time, get a $20 in-store credit when you pre-order "Dead Space 3", "Crysis 3", "Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel" and "Sim City" from Amazon. Free shipping is available as is release day shipping. Tax is applicable in select states though.


    The Microsoft Store recently launched a pre-order campaign of its own with a 1600 MS Points Card for pre-orders on three of the games above plus "Grand Theft Auto V", "BioShock Infinite", "Gears of War: Judgement" and others. This appears to be Amazon's move to compete with that offer so it will be worth watching to see what other titles are added to the list.

    Nothing here that tickles my fancy, I'm afraid. Would love it if they offered a similar deal for the upcoming Tomb Raider game, or Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
