    Because Qwark sucks balls.

    That is cold hard science.

Great review Kerwan! Will be picking up the collection ASAP, or maybe pre ordering if possible. Either way, I am getting the collection! And yea, the only bad thing about the game is the lack of strafe, but once you play for a bit, you get used to it. Makes it feel more like Jak and Daxter IMO.

    Kerwan,
the "annoying" quirks you mentioned about are understandable, but after the automatic swing shot, upgraded weapons, extra nano-tech,and Ratchet's foot speed increases by 75% (especially in the third game), Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal's difficulty dropped (basically a trade-off). After playing all three games on PS3, there's a few moments when the game experiences frame rate drops for about 5-10 seconds. I just hated Going Commando because of the somewhat silly plot and the too easy boss battles (the soundtrack is what made the game good) ; but not as bad as Size Matters and All For One.

From best to worst in my opinion:

    Ratchet and Clank
Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando (only because of the soundtrack honestly)
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
    Ratchet Deadlocked
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time
    Secret Agent Clank
Ratchet And Clank: All For One
    Ratchet And Clank: Size Matters

I think you mis-understood me. This wasn't a review for the entire collection; rather just the first game. The next two are coming soon, maybe even today.

Playing the collection I do not remember the checkpoints being so unforgiving. It's really dragging the game down for me.

When I play Ratchet and Clank, I hardly ever use guns, I just use the wrench and beat guys with it. I guess I'm not as good as I was as an 8 year old kid.
