Just his opinion of the game and it got several points across about the game that people should know. May sound whiny, but need to know what is bad and good about the game. That is the point of the reviews lol.
Nice review, but I actually found myself enjoying All-Stars a bit more than Smash. My only major problem with it was it's lack of in depth character intros and endings. It didn't make me want to beat arcade with everyone in order to see them all.
Also I dont have as much of a problem with "cheap moves" like Big Daddys ground pound attack. I think that just comes down to having a tier list. Like I find Raiden for example to have an easy time with it, yet slower characters that run more of a melee offense are a bit harder to play with against him.
But that's just personal opinion
I liked it alot more than Smash Bros. I thought that it had significantly less exploits which I liked. Like many others, I got the game for free for VITA. It is one of my favs for that system to date.
Ew, I would have given it a 7.5 at least. Stories may not have been very in-depth, but there are a lot of characters, especially with some awesome boss battles, like the...
...Jak and Ratchet fight we have all been waiting for!
But I really liked this game, and since a lot of my friends play Smash on their Gamecubes and Wii's, I can finally play my own, and with PS characters. I guess I like it a lot more because I am part of the old fanbase since the PSOne. I really enjoy it, and plan on playing it with friends this weekend!
Well overall with this game, I was enjoying it at first but it seem to get stale after some time. I mean nothing to really unlock and it sucks that supers are the only way to defeat someone. Feel like I'm really NOT making any progress just build my gauge up and that's really it. I mean we're only gonna get more characters thru DLC. SMH!! IMO yeah they competed against Smash Bros, but I could play Melee and Brawl a LOT more than I could with this. Oh well
So...many...games...so...many......very...little...time. Ah the life of a gamer
They should have listened to the Playstation faithful and included at least another 10 characters especially seeing it's a $60 title. If it was $40 like Sly Cooper then I would have bought it. Very underwhelming title and we deserved a lot more. The commercials for it were poorly done and looked unappealing in my opinion (I did like the robot chicken style commercial).
