Was reading about it just a few minutes ago. I honestly never knew anything he did/participated in other than Ghostbusters, but National Lampoon had some really fun things (including the movies, like Vacations and Animal House), and Groudnhog Day is really one of the most iconic comedy films of the last decade of the past century.

Sad he didn't even get to play with his very own LEGO Dr. Egon figure.

Knowing the current trend in Hollywood, Ghostbusters 3 would probably be a reboot.

Ghostbusters has a godlike contract, the main ghostbusters and the original ghostbusters director has a final say on any ghostbusters related IP merc/movies/cartoons/etc.

if one person says no, it gets scrapped. Bill murray constantly said no to a third ghostbusters movie so it never got made.

it's the main and only reason the ghostbusters game got made. it had to be super authentic to the movie. It's also Canon and is essentially Ghostbusters 3.

The game is super underrated, go play it.

i wonder since He's dead will Ghostbusters stuff no longer get made

A kick to the childhood and the adulthood that, the man's CV reads like a comedy blueprint.

That is so true. Just heard someone on TV call him "The Alchemist of Comedy" and I think that sums his career up perfectly.

Found this as well. Though it was a good tribute.

Was the multiplayer option never on the PC version? I ask this because I know the PS3 had a multiplayer option before it was shut down and the 360 still has it unless that has been shut down too.

Just one question. Do you happen to know how to fly this thing?

Such a great talent. He will be missed. He seemed like a cool, down to earth kind of dude.

pure and simple. he was the research/smart guy of the group. he was also one of the main writers (dan akyroyd being the other, but he's too busy being completely batshit selling people crystal skulls full of vodka.)

This man had a hand in a large number of my favorite movies of all time. It is very rarely that I get any kind of honest twinge when a celebrity passes, short of feeling sorry for the family members; this time I was truly sad to see him go, and I believe I'll feel the same way when Akroyd and Murray move on. There was magic when those 3 got together, nobody can deny that. When I showed my kids who passed they instantly knew Ghostbusters and Stripes, and when I told them the other movies they knew each and every one of them.

R.I.P. Harold Ramis, my kids and me will miss you.
