Was reading about it just a few minutes ago. I honestly never knew anything he did/participated in other than Ghostbusters, but National Lampoon had some really fun things (including the movies, like Vacations and Animal House), and Groudnhog Day is really one of the most iconic comedy films of the last decade of the past century.
Sad he didn't even get to play with his very own LEGO Dr. Egon figure.

My posts can be humorous or serious, but it's up to you to decide which posts are which.
This man had a hand in a large number of my favorite movies of all time. It is very rarely that I get any kind of honest twinge when a celebrity passes, short of feeling sorry for the family members; this time I was truly sad to see him go, and I believe I'll feel the same way when Akroyd and Murray move on. There was magic when those 3 got together, nobody can deny that. When I showed my kids who passed they instantly knew Ghostbusters and Stripes, and when I told them the other movies they knew each and every one of them.
R.I.P. Harold Ramis, my kids and me will miss you.
