    Claire "Lightning" Farron
    Final Fantasy XIII-2

    Despite strong competition from the other 10 Platmates this year, Lightning stood out most to everyone and has won the award for 2012 Platmate of the year in the End of year Awards Voting. Not only did she win, she won by a landslide vote of 28-9 against second place winner Juliet Starling. Despite only having a supporting role in this years FFXIII-2, she will be back as the main character in next years FFXIII-3.
