Well that's a little better, but I'm still gonna go with the Wi-Fi only version. No way the 3G is worth it.

I guess that makes sense. I have wi-fi just about everywhere I go and I just don't see a need for me to have the 3G. I mean what are you gonna use the 3G for?

games on the vita are going to need 24/7 Surveillance like DUST 514 and that Dungeon game.

if i need to save my corporation from doom in dust 514 while im at disney world/Wal-Mart/Anywhere that doesn't have wifi i need 3G access.

don't wanna use all my isk on my merc just for it to get wasted while im away from it.

Agreed, although there's still time for them to lower the prices a little more (although I doubt they will).

Hell yeah, considering you then have to pay extra to actually get the 3G signal i don't see the value in paying more!

I didn't know it had a sim card slot. But yah, sim cards will make nearly any phone that has one work with your regular plan.

I think when everything is said and done. I pay $10 a month for 2gb of 3g. And I can tether my connection anytime, anywhere... No brainer for me anyways. At&t and Sony are dropping the ball big time on the 3g's plans...

We are talking about AT&T here... It has to have a SIM card slot somewhere.
Gauss's Piracy Uncertainty Principle: When you pirate a game, that act inherently changes the results of what is to come after your pirating. You can't make any statement with any certainty regarding what would have happened had you not pirated the game.

    Gauss's Rating Rationale:
0-1: A game whose very existence is abhorrent to all things creative and intelligent.
2-4: A just plain bad game.
5-6: A game that has alot of mistakes, but is atleast playable and has some enjoyable sections. Good for a rent.
7: An average game, should be played at some point
8: A good game, should buy at some point
    9: A great game, day-one purchase
10: A game that goes above and beyond the generation, its transcendent.

    Pay $15 - get 250 MB (0.2441406 GB)
    Pay $15 MORE - get 3GB (3072 MB)

    3072/250=12.288
    0.2441406*12.288=2.9999996928

$15 for 250MB or pay double for 12 times more. If anyone chooses the 250MB over the 3GB, they must not be that smart.

If I was going to get the Vita and pay a monthly price for the Wi-Fi, I'd choose the 3GB since I am getting 12 times more data convergence for only twice the price.

Free Wi Fi hot spots at Maccas, KFC, most hotels, pubs, bars, restaurants, shopping centres etc and a Wi Fi router at home. What's the benefit in paying $30pm (or whatever the cost ends up being in Aus) for a megre 3GB, when I'm already paying $50pm for my 100GB home plan and there is ample Wi Fi hotspots arround the world offering free internet.

Same here. Id rather save $50 bucks then pay for a feature Id never use...
