Woo, another Nep platinum bites the dust. Not much to say about this one, other than it's one of the better spin offs of the series but it does have at least some aggravating things. The Baseball collectibles aren't tracked so you have to keep track of all 42 yourself and hope you don't miss the missable ones. Some of the dungeons don't activate til you accept the mission, even though the mission says you can't complete it yet, derp. Not to mention the bosses can be incredibly difficult unless you cheese them with the Segami/Megadrive trick, which is kind of sad. It is a tad on the short side but it was still enjoyable overall. Guess that's it for nep til Cyber Dimension gets an eventual release.
Next game on the agenda: Danganronpa 1; completed my backlog and bought a new backlog, haha. Ended up mostly being Vita games and one PS4 game. Aiming to make FFXV my 100th platinum, so I'll need to plat two more games before then.
Finally got to Danganronpa after stalling picking it up for awhile. I had watched the anime when it aired which was long before this was localized here so I already knew the major plot twists. Either way I still like to experience the originals whenever I can, and I would say it's definitely worth it. It's definitely unique, and comes with great visuals and and soundtrack. While enjoyable, the class trials are a little too chaotic for my taste, but the rest was perfectly fine. I had to do a couple extra school mode playthroughs due to messing up but I still ended up clocking in at 34 hours.
Next game on the agenda: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Not much to say trophy wise about this game. It pretty much is the same exact platinum as the first game with a few more additions that tack on a few more hours. Overall not a very annoying platinum, though I'm sure Monomi's minigame tested patience of many players. On the other aspects of the game, I would say that DR2 is a much better game overall on the story and cast side of things and found myself much more engaged this time around. I guess I'll have to acquire Ultra Despair Girls down the road to continue with the series, but that's it for DR for me at the moment. On another note, with this game I've passed into trophy level 26 and now I'm one platinum away from the big 100.
Nothing really to say about this one as I already did the PS4 version. Glad I ended up saving it since due to lack of time I was never able to complete danganronpa ultra despair girls before Tales of Berseria and KH2.8 released. Since Future Tone was a 100% trophy list I lacked a platinum for January, so I decided to just use this to fill in the gap. lol
