    Vita discs crashing my Vita

Has any body had the Vita crash when upon putting disc in and turning it on it just says the initial load up of home screen crashes. I've only had it start today as I bought Lumines on disc because its cheaper on shopto.net. I've system restarted it on plenty of occasion's today with different discs and it seems to be happening with each disc.
I want to ask here before I fone Sony to complain. I don't want to delete all files as I guess Sony will tell me to do.

but yea the vita has crashing problems (varies for each vita, for example mine crashes randomly for no reason) even though sony doesn't want to admit it, just contact them for support.

Only had my Vita crash on me once so far in about 200+ hours of gaming and run time. I had it on standby and it locked up, but holding the power button down for like 10 seconds fixed it.

    is happening a lot.

you have to do a soft or hard reset. via Recovery menu.

completely turn off your console by holding the power button
    now with that said.

press R1 home button and power on

hold those buttons for about 30 secs. you will see the recovery menu.

    try second option

if the problem persist, then you have to call sony.

I have been doing this. I knew about that on day 1. It just keeps crashing when card is in, after switching it on it comes up game name and loading and when the load is spinning it crashes. When I load a downloaded game it works fine.

I didn't bother it seems if you do rebuild database it just fixes the problem. I just risked it and it worked no loss of data fortunately. I did backup my data twice just in-case. You just have to reset your wallpapers.

Had mine for a little while now but dont really use it that much. Just had my first freeze up last night. First the sound went out and then the whole screen just went black. Had to hold the power button to reset it.

mine crashed a few times but it's no biggy for me, I mean the thing is just out, and it crashes less then my PS3 PC or phone so I'm not complaining.
it is true that the vita is not as stable as most of us hoped for, they WILL fix it in the future.
