I have a 32gb card as well. I've never received that message. Just updated yesterday morning, and i've played my Vita 5-6 hours since then. I'm playing this thing more than my PS3 anymore.

I've been using the 32bg card since launch and have had the update since it went live and have had no problems at all. You may have a faulty card.

Iv'e had the problem once on an 8GB and a friend of mine had it on a 4GB. Just full power off your vita, Take out the memory stick and put it back in. That fixed the problem for me.
Iv'e not had it on my 16GB yet (mind you I only got it yesterday)

By any chance, was your Vita on a cradle when that happened?

Nope but I had moved it a lot when it happened ( I had it in the carrying case you get with the accessories kit and I walked across town with it hanging on my belt line).
My best guess is that it happens because the memory card isn't in straight (If you try, you will find that vita memory sticks have a bit of movement when they are inserted, or at least more that I would expect).
If that is the case then it would explain why mine started to work again once I took it out and put it back in (iv'e only had that problem the one time so far)

I've had a 32gb card from launch as well, never had a problem.
Have you tried blowing into the card slot?

thanks for the replies guys, i haven't got the message anymore so i would assume it's related to the cradle, but i did removed it and reinserted so is possible that was the issue
