Which reason made you buy a psvita?

I know a lot of you travel by train or whatnot and need a handheld to help pass time, for me i travel by car to take me places, when im home i turn on the ps3 or browse the internet on my pc.. Where do i find the time to play psvita? i dunno.. I'm thinking about buying it nonetheless, but really like to hear from other members before i do so

All my PSP games were download so I wasn't losing anything out of it.
    Trophies support
    Technology upgrade
I am often away at multiple places and the vita can come with me where as a PS3 can't.
While I'm away I can use Wi-Fi remote play to download new stuff off PSN ready to play when I'm back. Plus if something is on sale for a week or something then I can use it to buy it while on sale (like say I'm away for 2 weeks but PS+ is only giving away something for free for a week)

I bought it for the games. And for the trophies.
I have the same trouble as you, OP. I drive to work, so I didn't buy it to play during my commute. I just simply split my play time between my PS3 and my Vita. I'll game up to about an hour to 90 minutes before I need to sleep, then I'll get in bed and play the Vita until I need to sleep. It's so easy to pick it up and put it down, so I find this works rather well for me.

Anyone else waiting for the price to drop? the only game i'm looking forward to playing is persona 4.. but is that enough i wonder? maybe the prospect of more rpg's will convince me entirely

Persona 4 is the only reason I am buying one. At least I can look forward to playing the other Persona games as well.

I bought mine for the promise of Gravity Rush and because I was planning to move house to a location that would require a long train ride to work (yes, I gave up a 30 minute walk to work for a 1 and a half hour train ride).

Now that I have moved, I'm getting around 3 hours of gaming out of it a day but if it wasn't for my daily commute, I'm pretty sure my Vita would quickly be collecting dust. The problem for me isn't not having enough time to play it, but not having enough good games to play compared to my home consoles. At the moment there is literally nothing available on Vita that I would rather play than any of my PS3 or Xbox360 games (at least until Gravity Rush gets released).

Basically, it's worth getting if you need something to keep you occupied while away from home but if the only time you have for gaming is while at home, you might want to wait until there's a couple of games you want available for it.
