Hey guys, I'm really considering getting a vita very soon. I have a long commute to and from school every day, and love having portable games to play. I like using my phone, but battery dries up very quickly on my phone. I'm really stoked for Zen Pinball 2, I have 1 and absolutlely love it, and 2 looks fantastic. LBP Vita looks to be very nice, I'm also pretty stoked about being able to play, hopefully, many of the PS1 classics that I've already purchased on the Vita, as well as many PSP games that i purchased as well.
Yes I did have a PSPgo and decided to get rid of it. I did enjoy it, but I just decided to sell it. Anyway, from what I'm seeing, the Vita seems to me to have many very good games out and of course many more to come.
So what do you all think? Should I just go out and get one...eventually?

Total Awards: 28yes, it is a great system.
But at the moment unfortunately there are not a lot of great games available...
I would wait for some more games to be released

I would wait for special deals to get the Vita. Best Buy and etc... usually have special deals that give you an extra game or two. There's a couple of good games for the Vita right now like Gravity Rush and Wipeout.

Total Awards: 8At the moment it is kinda being treated as a most have handheld. A lot of people on this site has one and the complaints I seen on here and other sites about lack of games or people moaning about not being able to see your PS3 trophies or whatever people like to moan about. It is a fad so when it goes away in 4 yrs, I will be probably getting certain games for a lower price. So letting everyone else be the guinea pig works for me.

Gravity rush is awesome, Uncharted, and soon Ragnarok Odyssey. I love my vita. I don't understand the whole waiting thing. If you wait, you just fall behind on the games. There are games available now that will last you until the next good game comes out. Persona, Phantasy Star online 2; I'm only interested in rpgs btw...

Total Awards: 14Not a lot of great games for Vita? Uncharted, WipEout, Hot Shots golf, Motorstorm RC, Super Stardust, Gravity Rush, Sound Shapes... there should be plenty to hold you over for at least 4-5 months until more games come out this fall, like ACIII: Liberations and LBP and PS All Stars.

If you have the money and see a game you like, it's worth it.

it's really all up to you and how much you would actually use it. and going by what you said with your long commute then you'll be using it often so i would say go for it. there are a few must have games such as uncharted and gravity rush which should hold you over till zen pinball 2 and assassins creed liberation come out. plus you have all those ps1 classics and psp games so you should be good to go.

Think of the games you'd want for it and take into consideration that the PS1 classic games you may have already bought will not work on it right away. It is a great handheld but it is nothing without games and if I were you, I'd wait until a larger library was available. I bought mine the first day it was out and whilst at first it felt so awesome playing it, I soon regretted buying it so early due to the slow game releases. If you wait the games you want will have come down in price and the awesome games that will be coming soon will be out.
