Dead or Alive 5 coming to the Vita!

Our friends over at IPL have facilitated a grand announcement for PlayStation Vita fans: Dead or Alive 5 will be coming to PlayStation Vita in the form of Dead or Alive 5 Plus.
The news was revealed in the video below.

In the video, Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi notes that his team “will always back our DOA players and would also like to expand the entertainment of DOA5 furthermore,” and as such, they “plan to release Dead or Alive 5 Plus on the PlayStation Vita at an early stage of next year.” Players “can now practice and brush up their skills anywhere they want.”

This news comes on the heels of the announcement that IPL will be the home of official Dead or Alive 5 competition in 2013.
Keep it tuned to IGN for more on Dead or Alive 5 Plus as details develop.
I've never played DOA but I think this is awesome, the more games the merrier.

I passed the PS3 version, so I will probably get this. No release date though?

Sweet! I may get this as long as they don't tone the graphics down too much (like Mortal Kombat)

More like this would be great, really enjoyed Dead Or Alive 5 on PS3 even with the hilariously nonsense story. A handheld version would be perfect.

Huge DOA fan and I love 5. I will probably get this just out of DOA love.

Too bad I can't find a "like" button for this post.

But seriously, what's with the Vita getting a ton of shitty fighting games months after the PS3 version comes out. If you're going to shovel turds in our face, at least make it convenient.
