    Did my Vita break?

I had tried to open the "friends" bubble and it was taking forever so I tried to turn the Vita off. Now the screen is black but the blue light remains on (solid) and none of the buttons do anything. Is there a way to fix that?

Hold down the power button for 5 seconds and see what happens.

This happened to me yesterday too. Hold the power button for 30 seconds and a menu will come up. Select restart the system and it should fix it.

its actually been doing that since release.. i was playing wipeout and at the end of the race, it froze.
didnt kknow what to do, so i let the battery die.. then charged it and stared up normally...
the it happened when it was asleep, i tried to wake it up, but it just wouldnt, (was freaking out sooo bad)
so i went up to gamestop to see if anyone knew about it, and luckily one of the guys did.
he told me about holding the power untill the menu came up.. just about saved the life of a vita
