Platinum #113 and PS3 Platinum #82 - Wheel Of Fortune - Wheel Fanatic
I was scared off of playing this game after my experience with Jeopardy. That one took me nearly 2 years thanks to how boring it is and how long each game takes to play through. With Wheel having the same kind of trophies, with more luck based trophies, it kept me from trying it out...until I finally finished Jeopardy and needed a new game to play.
Fortunately, Wheel is a bit more interesting, and the game has a slightly faster pace than Jeopardy. It was much easier to get through 50 games, and far less boring. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a thrill a minute, but it's just not the slog that Jeopardy was.
What's next? Well, I do have The Price Is Right: Decades. But that's whole other kind of grind...
Without knowing a single Japanese word and having to relay on Online translation, this has to be my most hard worked and time consuming Platinum for me yet! 374 Hours and almost 2 months since I started to play it, it was a happy feeling that came when this beast of a Platinum popped up. Tales of Vesperia also become my favorite JRPG to date too!
Ugh, finally BBS hell is over. This is my first time playing through BBS as I didn't want to originally play it on PSP since the one nub to control the game was a turn off. So, now years later I've finally completed it. I decided to do one playthrough on critical since the most common comment I've seen was that it didn't really make much of a difference whether you were on Critical or another difficulty. Which now that I'm done with the game I can definitely back that it really doesn't make much of a difference in light that one of the bosses will knock you to 1HP no matter what. The worst of the platinum is definitely Terra; his optional boss battles are infinitely harder compared to Aqua and Ventus. It took a lot of luck and trial and error to defeat the bosses on his end due to a terrible dodge.
As for the other factor that would make or break the plat for some people; ice cream beat, I really had no problems here. Since I have experience with rhythm games this mini game is really not too difficult, but I can see why others are having issues with this. In the end I clocked in at 111 hours, I probably could've shaved off more time on Terra's total run if I wasn't going in entirely blind, but that's where I lost majority of time while I had more optimized runs for Aqua and Ventus. Now with the end of BBS is the end of my backlog, or at least I stuff I want to go back to. So, woo, finally ate through my backlog.
Next game on the agenda: Superdimension Neptune Vs Sega Hard Girls, probably will be taking a break til this releases on the 18th.
plat number 64 or 63 I don't remember but its the batman ttg on ps3 and in about an hour or so the ps4 plat for the same game, will say that the ps4 version has a bit more content in it which is sad since its suspose to be the same game, that and the horrible load times and lag I ran into, plus it crashed on me a few times, only play this if you find it cheap its not worth the $25 price tag for a very simple plat
