Like most of you, i want to know how the PS3 slim model of the Playstation 3 is doing in regards to the 'Yellow light of death' (YLOD).
So basically i have put together a poll to see just how many of you have had the YLOD with the PS3 slim playstation 3. If you have had a YLOD with a slim PS3 please use the poll and say when you had the YLOD and also when you purchased the PS3. Thanks for your time.
If you have a slim PS3 (any model) and it hasn't had a YLOD, please vote 'no' on the poll.
PS3 slim models only!!

Total Awards: 12I've yet to hear of a single Slim YLOD'ing. I'm sure it's possible, and it might of happened. But the chances of the Slim getting a YLOD right now is probably below 1%. You'll have blu-ray lense issues, or hard drive failures before it YLOD on you.
I've got 2 slims btw~.

Total Awards: 12Wow my internet just screwed me over

It just crashed as I was trying to vote and for some reason it says I voted yes...which isn't true.
Sorry about that

I would vote, but I haven't had one long enough to reach the margin of having this issue.
....Telling by the sound this thing makes now though, it'll be f*cking soon.

I think I got close but that was probably due to excessive playing of my PS3 during the Christmas period. I was playing a multiplayer game on assassin's creed revelations and the PS3 Slim froze and turned itself off and started a blinking red light and then i was scared to turn it back on but it successfully turned on so it wasn't a YLOD but it overheated.

I've had my PS3 Slim for two years and it is still running like a champ. Rarely ever hear the fan get excessively loud and fast

Total Awards: 9Had my PS3 for almost two years, and the only issues I've experienced from it were freezes with games from time to time.

I've had my slim PS3 for 7 months. It freezes from time to time but nothing serious has happened to it yet. It's running good so far.
My old fat PS3 couldn't read discs anymore so that sucked. It was about to hit 3 years. That's not bad.
I'm hoping that the Slim lasts me until 2014-2015

Interesting threat. The poll is quite useless though. What is the result going to tell us? Think about it
