Questions about creating a new PSN ID.

Thinking about creating a new PSN ID. Mostly because I'm bored, but also so I can go for 100% on stuff (or at least 60-80% Lol) and forget about some of those 0% games. I'll still be using my current one on occasion though.

    I have the following questions.

    1) My email that I use to login is my main one. Is it possible to change it on PSN so that I can use it with the new PSN ID?

    2) I'm assuming that my Playstation+ stuff is tied to my current ID, but I figured I'd ask anyway....will it transfer over to the new ID?

    3) Will DLC that I purchased for some games be available for the new ID?

    4) What about game data? Will I have to install games again to play them on the new ID?

Thanks in advance for any help.

1 - Yes you can change it here --- https://account.sonyentertainmentnet...m/login.action

2 - I don't think your new ID will have the plus sign on it, but I could be wrong. But you should be able to play anything you download with plus

    3 - yes

4 - no, I believe game data is system wide, not by user

I've noticed that my new PSN ID has access to all the games that I downloaded.

What I'm wondering is if I delete my old PSN ID off the PS3, will those games go too?

If I remember right, the main account (where you DL'd everything) is the one that ties everything together. If you purchased the games, DLC off your old account and then delete it, it'll be gone. I may be wrong but in my ealry day, please don't hate, I now realize the error of my ways, I game shared and when I deleted the person from my account, all that stuff disappears.

Yes if you delete the original ower of the games then 95% of the games will not work. Some of them can but it is pretty rare.

I've decided to keep my old one on the system.

That way, my new one will still have access to all the DLC & downloaded games that are saved on the system.

I just turned the auto-login OFF for my old one and ON for my new one.
