Rejoice all you one piece fans for the one piece game on ps3 is comming western way!
During its Global Gamers Day event in Las Vegas, Namco Bandai announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors will be coming to PS3 later in the year, in a co-development between Omega Force and Tecmo Koei Games.
It's the first nautical outing for Eiichiro Oda's anime on PS3, with One Piece: Pirate Warriors set to bring fighting action as you embark upon the Straw Hat Pirates' grand voyage, facing pirate and marine enemies while reliving your favourite scenes controlling pirates like Luffy, Zorro, Nami and others. You'll be able to unleash Gomu-Gomu attacks and other moves using the control system from Tecmo Koei's prolific Dynasty Warriors series, with a story mode that'll immerse players in the One Piece universe. One Piece: Pirate Warriors is out sometime on 2012.
News I've been waiting to hear and will be a day one title to buy for me for sure.

Total Awards: 10I'm sorry, but as much as i enjoy watching One Piece ill never EVER touch another Dynasty warrior-type of game again. I've played gundum 2 & 3 but used up two controllers just pressing the stupid X button 50,000 + times! I'll just watch other people play it but I'm never gonna go back XD.

Yes!
I was really excited when I played the Japanese version, I still think it sucks that the split screen is vertical instead of horizontal but at least it's better than the Saint Seiya game that lacked proper splitscreen.
And I think QTE really fit the game. Plus, I don't really care it has a lot of DLC, Dynasty Warrior games have a ton and it's pretty much useless stuff.

Total Awards: 10Well... Technically I exaggerated about the two controllers, lol, but just having to continuously face thousands of clones while pressing the same button over and over can kind of get boring. Maybe it's just me but I'll just like to watch from the sidelines from now on. :-)
