Portal 2 was great, but I'll have to go for the first Gears of War. I've had sod all co-op experience on the PS3 for some reason.

Portal 2 is the best for me, hands down.

Also loved Spec Ops in MW2 and MW3, Red Dead, Uncharted 2 and COD zombies (some maps better than others).

The Co-Op mode in Resistance 2 was always good fun - mostly everyone who played it knew what they were doing, so there were very few instances where I found myself stuck on a team that didn't play well together.

I also had a great time doing the online co-op in Ghostbusters. The servers could be temperamental sometimes, but I found myself 2 or 3 capable boosting partners and we all hammered it out together. We had good fun working together to trap ghosts, and reviving each other when necessary.

Borderlands, Portal 2, RDR, CoD zombies are all up there

To be frank there are nowhere near enough good quality co-op games available, I dont get why developers don't notice this

I don't get why barely any games get decent 4 player co-op either, so frustrating when a game looks like it'll suit 4 player co-op so well (RAGE .) and gets nothing worthwhile.

Not really co-op, but I've probably put more time into the online free-roam mode of GTA4 than any other game, the games nearing four years since its release and I can still play it. I can't think of many other games I can say that for from this gen.

I have played a few co op games, and my top one was Saints row 2 and 3
That game is so fun on so many levels, with fun roaming play like in a huge sandbox world. If only GTA was more silly and co op playable.

I would say Demons Souls and Dark Souls have the best co-op experience.

Don't really play co-op much but I did enjoy the co-op on RE5, Resistance 3 and Left 4 Dead.

Splinter cell: Conviction, best co-op story imo.
Others like Dead Island/Nation and Borderlands are great co-op games too.

I think Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is an underrated co-op experience, my friend and I had fun playing, but the best? Probably Uncharted 3, LBP2, but Awesomenauts is pretty epic.

Some co-op games I remember having fun with were Portal 2, MGS Peacewalker, Battlefield 3, Borderlands, both LBP1 and LBP2, and of course both WKC1 and WKC2.

Portal 2 was just fun since it was puzzle solving with funny trial and error. Battlefield 3 co-op was fun for me because I played it at a friends with both TV's right next to each other... Ah, how much yelling and laughing came from the chopper and hostage missions... good times. Each game has its own unique experiences and each one was a blast to play.

Resident Evil 5 was pretty damn fun, playing with my cousin (who's like a brother to me).
We really enjoyed Uncharted 3 as well, I got the Subway "month early" thingy and played Multiplayer. I still don't get U3 though....
We also played Borderlands for a few hours but I still need to buy it as well.

Other fun games were Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks and Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes.
