    Hard disk corrupted help

So started playing Dragons Dogma today and around a hour in i went to open a door and a load screen came up. After 5 minutes of waiting for it to load i decided to quit out of the game using the ps button but the screen just went blank. So i got up to turn it off on the ps3 it beeped and then nothing, wouldnt even turn off, i finally had to unplug it at the back. After restarting i had a message saying my hard disk file system is corrupted and will be resorted so i press yes and now when it gets to 100% it just goes back to say hard disk file system corrupted.
    Anyway of fixing this?

    best of luck Stu.
I had the same thing happen, when I was getting a map pack for black Ops and I turned off my surge strip on accident and lost a year and a half of saved data.

there are a handful games I wont be getting back too hundreds of hours gone.

You can try options #4(deletes your messages and folders) and
#5(will completely wipe your HDD) in your PS3 safe mode menu.I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a shot if you haven't tried it already.

I've had a similar thing happen... The game freezes or wont load or something so I have to hard reset and it comes up with my hard disk may be corrupted and it will do a file restore. Usually it will just load up the 100% and then the PS3 will turn on normally and I'll have no data or anything lost. Sometimes, it will take 2 or 3 tries for it to restart though. If it's taking more, I'm not sure what to say, but have faith and good luck! I usually copy my save files to my computer via a USB to back them up in case of a situation similar to this.
