A demo will be bundled with the Zone Of The Enders HD Collection and on consoles sometime later.

It appears to shy way away from anything to do with Snake's adventures,definitely needs to be, i agree.

From what I've been picking up, it seems to be piecing the gap in Raidens life from bitch boy in MGS2 to awesome in MGS4

There seems to be a blurb in there that mentions the events of MGS 4, so im guessing it's set after that, to avoid any canonical problems.Could of course, be set during and after.

As for MGS 2 Raiden, he served his purpose, with him, Snake came across 600% more heroic and generally awesome.

They said Rising will take place after MGS4. They'll probably leave the gap between MGS2-4 for a prequel, if this game isn't canon.

When I first saw this I wasn't really excited and thought this would be some awful spin-off that added nothing to the series. This video does look awesome and Platinum did a great job with Baynoetta so I've got faith that they can pull this off.
