HEY! I'm new too! Can I have some as well! :stare:

Just kidding! That is an epic list though. I wish I had more time for RPGs, but no such luck. I love the Yakuza games! Other than them not much I've dabbled in from that list. Though I did hit Fallout, I was disappointed by it. I was expecting to be able to explore and complete the game totally after the story finishes, but was shocked that it's not possible. Kind of put me off the New Vegas as a result.

Old Generation was the best in my opinion:

Suikoden I + II : This Motherfucker invented all that "Killed in first game, cant used in second game" 108 recutable Characters (around 70% playable) lot of minigames and epic moments.

FFVII: Yeah yeah baby fisr rpg and all that stuff, but my favorite, in this generation arma Battles will be postgame.
FFIX: back to the "Jobs" back to the Chocobos,
“Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?”

I am into JRPGS too. Did you need help choosing a title or are you just looking for others with similar interests?

    Working On:
"Fallout: New Vegas [Ultimate Edition]" - 59%,
    "Devil May Cry 3" - 14%,
    "Dead Storm Pirates" - 52% (3/5 S Rank)

Gravity Rush for the Vita is awesome. Try it if you have a Vita, there's a demo.

We need to see a Suikoden 6 on the PS3...or at the very least a re-release of all of them with trophy support. Seriously, I'd drop the money for all of them again if they had trophies.

This'll sound stupid.. but what's a JRPG as opposed to a plain old RPG?

Not a stupid question but it depends on who and where you ask. Its "SUPPOSED" to mean Japanese RPG as in made in Japan, like WRPG is supposed to stand for Western RPG as in an RPG made in the West (Usually North America) But to some people in the gaming biz its used as a catch-all term to describe the wackyness that usually comes in a Japanese RPG, and its not used in a positive way by said people.

Back to make things happier, I'd be interested if they are going to make a new Front Mission that goes back to its Strategy RPG roots, or even a proper Shining Force.

A JRPG is a roleplaying game made in Japan (usually), which tend to have many distinct stylistic elements that separate them from a typical RPG, which is a rocket-propelled grenade.

Pleasure to meet you celong27, I'm a huge ol' fan of JRPGs--a JRPG was the first game I got for my PS3, a JRPG was the first game I platted, and even right now I am working my way through a JRPG and loving it.
