Okami Returning to PS3 in HD

The PS2 classic is coming back to the modern console with a graphics upgrade.
Okami will get a re-release for the PS3 with a new high definition look, according to Adriasang.com.
It's going to get some kind of adaptability for the PS Move and has a tentative title "Okami Zekkie-ban," which the blog roughly translated to "Okami Magnificent Version". We're sure the edition that heads to the States will have a title that makes more sense in our native language, but part of me hopes they don't.
It also has a release date of Nov. 1 and a special offer for those who buy the first printed copies. Could this news get any sweeter?

Never got to play it, heard it was great. I hope it has a plat, if not I think I will have to pass.

Andraisang are also reporting that this ‘Magnificent Version’ will also entitle those who purchase the first run of the game to a Play View version of the digital version of a book based off Okami.

I'd totally get it ! And since it's a re-release with improved graphics and Move support, I'm sure it'll have trophies too ! I just hope it has no Move ones .

It was fantastic on the PlayStation 2, great on the Wii and I'm sure it will be even better on the PlayStation 3. This will be a purchase from me for sure.

In my opinion, yes. Sure it wasn't accurate some of the time but for the most part I had no trouble controlling the game and had a great time playing it. I seem to be a pretty easy man to please though, I like a lot of games that most reviewers hate.

In my opinion, yes. Sure it wasn't accurate some of the time but for the most part I had no trouble controlling the game and had a great time playing it. I seem to be a pretty easy man to please though, I like a lot of games that most reviewers hate.

Did you use the Wii Motion Plus thingy? Becuase if you had a great experience without it, that'd just mean it's even better with it .

Hell I can't remember. My wife plays the damn thing more than I do, but I do believe a game she bought came with the Motion Plus so I probably did use it on my playthrough.

I never played it before either so I'll definitely be buying this to see what all the hype is about. However, I do hope they have a retail version of it as I much rather adding to my physical collection than my digital one.
