oh wow i know how to fix that!

no wait sorry, i have no clue either.

I'm just joking, the cause of your problem is a faulty game disc.

Nothing to do with your ps3

    Should spell check that..

    but yeah.
Try other games first before calling Sony.

If that works, try loading a different save... then you can try deleting the game-data and reinstalling the game again.
    It's just a flesh wound.

    Turn the PS3 off.
Hold the power button to the PS3 until it turns itself on the off shortly after. with a few beeps in the middle.
Release the power button, then begin to hold it again.
    the ps3 should go
    Beep
    Beep
    BeepBeep

when it does the double beep, release the power button and you will be in recovery mode. Odds are a simple database rebuild will fix your PS3, If not, there are several other functions in here which could do it such as restoring to factory settings.

Yeah, you should follow Nirvash's tip. The best thing to do is to rebuild your database. If this doesn't work, try calling Sony for additional help! Good luck man!

I have that black screen ish too. I've tried swapping HDMI cables, tried PS3 on another TV, and I've also tried that button beeping thing too. I guess my PS3 HDD is cooked?

Faulty CD just like everyone mentioned. Try other games first before calling Sony just to be safe.
