That's right, Grand Theft Auto III is coming to PSN next week... but it's just a PS2 Classic and hasn't been enhanced in any way
So no HD, no Trophy support, no nothingAnd by the sounds of things, Vice City will be getting the same treatment

I agree with you to all 3 PS2 GTA's were great - HD collection with trophy support would be better though as you said

Total Awards: 10Imagine GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas as one collection.
And Liberty City Stories, and Vice City Stories as the other.

Forget it, why the hell would I buy this if it's not remade in hd? I already have it for the PS2.

I don't get what's so good about it being in HD? I saw the trailer for the Yakuza HD remakes, and the PS2 graphics still looked just as bad. No trophies mean's no point in me getting an HD upgrade.

As great as this is there really isn't any reason for me to buy the game, since I still have my PS2 copy, and if they don't improve or add anything new its seems pretty pointless to me

Total Awards: 6I still own my PS2 version, so no point in me buying it if it doesn't have trophies.

For god sake can't they just release a GTA HD Collection featuring 3, Vice City and of course my personal favorite San Andreas and make everyone happy instead of just giving us the no HD and no trophy support edition which surely everyone has played by now.

Total Awards: 9already played this so once again "no trophies, no purchase"
-

Still have all of my original PS2 GTA games, so no trophies means no purchase. Seriously, instead of wasting everyones time and releasing it as a PS2 Classic, just bundle the 3 together and release them as a HD Collection with trophies.

It would cost a lot more money and time to work on the HD upgrade and they would have to think of trophies as well, its a shame they wont do it tho, pretty much most game companies could re-release their games and profit from them all over again

I played the shit out of those. Literally spent about 100 hours in each due to multiplayer with my friend
