I'm okay with this. I live in Boston, so hopefully I'll be able to find my way around pretty easily This also seems pretty likely because, as the article states, the Fallout series' "Commonwealth" is located in Massachusetts.

I hope, I am begging for this to be legit. This will be the first non-sports game I will pre-order.

West Coast has about everything settled, We know NCR is taking control and expanding itself, East Coast is an strange place still, It would be awesome If Obsidian could make Fallout 4 and a good plot line in the East Coast. Then again Bethesda has been so silent about Fallout that It pisses me off. Yet, I though Fallout 4 would be set on Chicago because Lonesome Road hint that. Let's just wait and hope.

I must disagree with you. Then again, Fallout 3 made Fallout Franchise stand up again so I wouldnt blame you If you though It was better than New Vegas.

I don't get the love for New Vegas. I like the feel of Fallout 3 a lot more than it.

I hope this is true, but anywhere they put it is fine. As long as Fallout 4 happens.

As long as they make the game less buggy, I don't mind the location, though Boston should be interesting.

One of the things I really loved about Fallout 3 was that the setting oozed history. Maybe it doesn't spark everyone's interest, but I loved seeing post-apocalyptic versions of famous artifacts and monuments around the city. It made exploration extremely cool and I loved it.

Next to D.C., Boston arguably has the second most history out of any US cities (Bethesda has noted that it's unlikely they will move the franchise outside of the country) so I'd definitely be for this idea.

I kind of just want a new Fallout experience, I don't care too much as to where it is located.

Jack, stop making want to play the game again

And I agree, I couldn't give a shit were it's located, as long as I get some Fallout goodness.

Sounds interesting. I'm not bothered where the game is set. I also like exploring the history of America so I can't wait for this.

I think it would be really cool if the game took place in a completely different area of the world, like somewhere in Africa or China. I can see that being really awesome.

I agree, you could see the effect the whole war had on China...
Tokyo would be too. Lots of culture amd tons of buildings to explore. Or I can see London being a great city.

if you like terrible plot/characters/everything sure

hell the old world blues dlc is way better than fallout 3.

Fallout New vegas is simply better in every single way. Obsidian Entertainment Contains most of the black isle studios, who made Fallout 1 and 2. They know their shit and don't try to rape it for some terrible plot fallout 3 had.

here let me list a few fallout 3 plotholes

Fallout 3 is a better game and far less buggy then New Vegas.

New Vegas is terrible for freezing and bugs. I am playing the DLC packs for new vegas now and i have had three freezes in about 15 hours of gameplay between two DLC packs. When i went back to new vegas just to play the game solely for the DLC i got a freeze five minutes into the game

And i haven't even played the 'lonesome road' DLC yet which is mean't to be the buggiest and freeze prone out of the four DLC packs.

thats what happens when you buy a ps3 version of a western dev game that isn't first party or a exclusive.

PC Version or Xbox Version, They are mainly developed for those platforms. If it's a Japanese Dev you get the PS3 version. it's how it works.

i never crashed a single time in new vegas unless i intentionally changed something involving the game files.

Any true fallout fan (pre Fallout 3) will tell you New vegas is the superior version and should of been fallout 3. Fallout was known for it's dark humor and story and Fallout 3 had none of that. Hell the old fallout games were written differently if your character was dumb as shit.(and new vegas had that feature, but it didn't change NPC dialogue that much)
