Good luck! I had my phat repaired but I went out and bought a slim to replace it after the data transfer. I'd recommend you do the same at some point

My original fat boy (like me) died last year. I was playing demons souls and I guess it didn't like that so it just cut out on me. Not having ps+ at the time and not wanting to lose all my data being so close to the platinum on that game I voided my warranty and took it to some bloke so he could fix it. Well he fixed it but it cut right back out on me. I didn't think to save the game saves to a USB at the time. I lost a lot of data that day. I bought a slim during the holiday season because I was bored.

Thanks to Thunder for the platbar!!!

Well the reason my system broke almost immediately after being fixed is because of the vgas or whatever the bloke had said. He told me to buy them and that I could probably get them for twenty bucks but I just never did it. I'm lazy like dat yo.

Thanks to Thunder for the platbar!!!

Hopefully the surgery went well!!! It's not fun to have a PS3 that doesn't work properly. But it will be fixed now and it will last some longer.
