Quite the opposite. Games like Ninja Gaiden [NES], when I was younger, would kick my ass tenfold. Could barely beat the first boss, let alone survive the second stage.

While I still get my ass handed to me in it, I do much better - I can usually make up to stage 4 or so before I finally have enough of the cheap auto-target-the-nearest-pit-on-hit deaths.

My reacion times are better, my fingers are faster, and I just overall play better. QTE's cause no grief, the MGS torture chamber is as easy as pie, and Expert on Rock Band is common place for me - I actually suck on anything lower.

I was pretty good when I was younger. Yeah a friend would kick my ass, but less than an hr and a few loses I learned new strategies and then I would kick my friend's ass. Now I'm much more better than my younger self. I just keep getting better and better with every challenge I go through with gaming.

Nope. Once I beat a Crash Bandicoot GBA game in some months... this summer I picked it up again. I tried to speedrun it. I beat it, at the third try, in less than 45 minutes. I beat that game 3 times in two days.

For me personally, yes and no. I'm getting back into the groove of things and slowly getting better. Some games like DOOM for example..I aced it when I was younger. I think tho its because we played for fun..and yes we were frustrated but we were kids for the most part and didn't take the game seriously!

Are you kidding me? I would body my younger self at every fighting game I've played.
Doom runs a country, bitch! A nation of slaves! Dig you a grave! I'll make Umbrella look like Welfare, minimum wage! Doom is getting enraged! I come harder! Killed my ex-girlfriend and turned her into a suit of armor! Beat you to death with your legs, leave you in stitches, Marvel 2 is the shit, RE 5 is for bitches!

The older I get the better at games I get. Before PS3 trophies came out I never bothered to replay my games I purchased. Trophies are the best thing that have happened to PS3.

I guess I'm better now. I used to never play on harder difficulties. I do now and the more I've done the better I think I am getting.

My younger self was epic at Street Fighter. Now I feel like the first day my boyfriend said, "Hey play this game with me. I'll let you win".

I'm opposite to what I was like with gaming when I was younger, before I never really understood game mechanics or understood story plot at all, and alot of the time I didn't really think much about how I went about playing anything, just kinda picked up a pad and dived straight into the dark.

But now, when I do decide to go back to old games I had played, I can enjoy/appreciate it alot more and can understand everything that went on better and to me, making the experiance better overall. I guess I can say I matured over the years towards my attitude with video games.

Though if there is something I have noticed.. is that I used to be alot better with fighting games, street fighter games specifically and now I'm kack at them oddly enough.

Nah. I used to suck at games when I first started playing. I think I've gotten worse in some genres and better in others though. My tastes have changed over the years. I no longer have the patience to play platformers for example, and thus I'm not as good as I used to be. Which does bring me to a point. I'm definitely not as patient or as tolerant as I used to be. I'd quit the game these days if when I died, I had to start all the way back at the start.

Overall 19 year old SirDrRoger is better than say 9 year old SirDrRoger. 19 year old me can use his brain and choose the best way to solve a problem which helps out alot. However I think 9 year old me was more fearless when it came to games so I will give 9 year old me credit for that.

I will always consider myself middle of the road! I never sucked at games, but then again I've never been great at them either. I just enjoy playing them. So to answer the question - no!
