    Your Headset of Choice?

So guys, my new puppy decided to make a chew toy of the left cup on my p11's and im back in the market for a headset. I have been checking out his headset a noise hush n780 i feel like i need a mono headset and don't really want to invest in a high end model until this little bastard grows up! But more importantly im just curious to see what the general consensus is on headsets for the ps3....show me your cupS!!lol also welcome my newb-ness!

    Well 1.) Welcome

2.) I have the PS3 bluetooth (the slim model) and I have no problems with it. You probably can find it "kinda" cheap online if your willing to go that route.

3.) Set up your trophy card via "Dashboard"

4.) Starter +Rep's on the house "newbie"

Stuff like that makes me glad I don't have pets anymore. Anyways, most people have considered turtle beach headsets the best out there and I agree. I'm thinking though you should invest in a bluetooth like kidson suggested until you curb your dog's desire to gnaw on random items.

    P.S. Welcome to the site.

I've got a Gioteck one, see link below. I've had it for a few years and had no problems, so far. Works a charm.

I have a shitty $30 or $20 one. Got it after I lost the official PS one, which I still haven't found after 2 years of searching.

Welcome and have some rep for picking a forum name.

I just use the Sony bluetooth headset now.I rarely play online so it meets my needs for a cheap price. The best i've used are the turtle beach headsets.

Good thing I found this thread. I was looking for a good headset too. Any other good "starter" models?

I like to use Turtle Beach Headsets, they are comfortable to wear & you can use them both on your PS3 & your PC.

I've used Turtle Beach headsets, Triton headsets, the official Sony headset but the one that I feel it the best is the Astro A40's. They're a little more expensive than the others but to me they are 100% worth it.

I have the standard Bluetooth, though the new headphone style looks cool, I want it.
