Alpha Protocol, Spec Ops The Line and The Darkness 2 are great games.

I know I posted this up in a similar forum, but personally, I think the most criminally overlooked, under-purchased and not played enough games (that I've actually played) are:

    Bulletstorm
    Vanquish
    The Darkness II
    ALICE : Madness Returns
ENSLAVED : Odyssey To The West
    SPECS OPS : The Line

Enslaved is a criminally under-appreciated game. I fell in love with it almost as soon as I started playing it. I'm genuinely saddened that its proposed sequel will never come to pass.

The Saboteur - a truly fun sandbox game set in Nazi-occupied Paris. It takes ages to fully complete it, but it's always great fun.

Afrika - admittedly, a game based upon photographing animals doesn't sound all that exciting. But Afrika is a true gem amongst the glut of PS3 games; I'd love to see a sequel some day.

    3d Dot game Heroes
    Alice: Madness Returns
    Alpha Protocol
    Nier
    Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
    Sacred 2: Fallen Angel
    White Knight Chronicles

All are great games that I hear next to nothing about ever.

Spec Ops The Line. Never wanted to play it until i heard a lot of positive feedback on this game. Finally bought it as a bargain and i absolutely loved the game!! If FUBAR wasn't such a pain in the ass this would be AAA title!!

Section 8 definitely is an underrated game. Given it's a bit like Halo, but it's a good game, which goes on sale quite often, and is not too hard to platinum. Also, they just released a sequel, Section 8: Prejudice, which I have yet to play. The campaign can easily completed in like less than 6 hours, and the campaign trophies are quite easy to get. The multiplayer is pretty decent, for like a $10 (How much I got it for) and especially if you have friends to play with.

Sleeping Dogs A great game one of the best last year

For me trophies have become an integral part of gaming, like a stereo in a car. Is it really necessary? No. Is it a lot more fun with it though? Hell yeah!

Amy - it got a 2/10. It had bad checkpoints but they fixed it. After the patch it was great. The game got better after each level. 10/10 IMO.

Seriously everyone says it is bad because of the bugs.....has anyone played after the patches?
I really enjoyed the game first time round, I liked the Hardcore mode and other additions . My only problems with the game were, the wasteland was just not very interesting to explore and the Casinos were just empty husks . Fallout 3 was just so much more interesting IMO, but NV was in no way a bad game .

I'm playing Fallout New Vegas right now and I kinda agree. It is a really good game but I think Fallout 3 felt much more like you were in a post apocalyptic wasteland than New Vegas

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is totally underrated. The voice acting is horrible, but the game is so much fun to play. One of the best SRPGs I've played in a very, very long time. I highly recommend it, especially for PS+ gamers because it's free right now.

Not going too much backwards so I would say Max Payne 3 was a lot of underrated, and from my more recent gamming experience I would say Hitman Absoluton and Spec Ops The Line are very nice too!

Red Dead Redemption; Battlefield:Bad Company 2; KillZone 3; L.A. Noir; Call Of Duty: MW3; Uncharted 3; Far Cry 3; BattleField 3; Hitman: Absolution; The Last Of Us; Need For Speed: Most Wanted; Special Ops: The Line!

I have seen a few different posts with games that I absolutely agree with:

    The Saboteur
    Dino Crisis
    Spec Ops: The Line

But no mention of criminaly underrated (and my favorite) series: Yakuza.
