I would recommend to you White Knight Chronicles 2. Its a really good JRPG game with a very big lifespan( it also has the first game in it).

If you want a "time eater": GTA IV (grinding in multiplayer ), Dark Souls, the new Skyrim i guess, if you like racing GT 5 and of course F1 2010 (if you want the :plat: the hard way, it'll cost you between 300-500 hours, trust me )

Dead Island..quite fun..and multiplayer time goes by super fast. thus far i have all but 1 MP trophy to obtain.. I think I've put in probably 70+ hours and am 53% towards the plat. Altho some plat it faster than others (based on the 28 day trophy).

Sacred 2. WKC 1, FF XIII, Star Ocean, Dragon Age Origins (get Ultimate Edition as it contains all DLC + Expansion pack!)

If your big on FPS definitely MW1/2 will make the time go by like nothing! Battlefield 3 is even doing that to me and it's only the beta!

Play an MMO, loads of them to choose from.

I'll say, White Knight Chronicles 2 just because it has the orignal game aswell as the second game bundled all in one disc, and the story will last you a good 40-60 hours or so, and that don't include side quests or bounty quests or even the online component that comes with the game for free as long as you buy the game new, mind you.

Then if you decide to dive into endgame you can go online and party up with other people and do quests, hang out in towns that people create and farm synthesis items, level up your GR rank, get access to new weapons/armour/quests etc etc. There is alot to do in WKC2 even after you are done with the random stuff depending on how much interest you have on endgame content, which can last you as long as you play.

Disgaea games definitely, I haven't bought a game in a month since I got Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 4 and I'm still just getting started (I used to buy games every 1-2 weeks.)
