    Great "Time Eater" Games?

After playing a lot of Fallout and Oblivion on the PC (which has taken up over 450+ hours out of my life) I've been wanting to find a good game that will keep me busy for a long time as well as having fun. Games like GTA and RDD that have a lot of stuff to do. Anyone know any good games like those?

Time eater? Pal get ready for WARHAWK. Easily you can put in 500 hours.

Other time consuming games are: Gran Turismo 5, Super Street Fighter 4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

The Disgaeas easily ate 400 hours each for me. So yeah. Disgaea 3 and 4 are for the PS3 and have LOADS of stuff for you to do.

On the other hand they are strategy RPGS rather than games like GTA.

I'd suggest waiting for Skyrim which is coming out soon seeing as you've already played Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Although, another good choice is Borderlands game of the year edition because of the DLC.

I am with Denaratuck. By the fact you played both Fallout and Oblivion you might as well wait for Skyrim.

Sacred 2 can take a bit of time to go through to Niob, especially if you're working on the trophies as well. Star Ocean is another one that'll take some time out of your life. Dragon Age Origins is another one that can take some time, especially if you have the DLC for it.
I was thinking about boasting about my :plat:'s and 100%'s, but then I thought why bother, not like they're anything amazing.

Hmm well demon souls and FF13 and dragon age origins(with all the DLC)are all 100+ hour games so they are decent long, but you wont have to wait like skyrim. Or you can always trade your souls for a wow subscription.

Wait for Skyrim if you are looking for something similar to what you posted. On a side note, if you want to spend a lot of time on a game to get a few trophies that take forever to get anyway, pick up Warhawk or BFBC. Both will take awhile.

If you loved specifically oblivion and fallout 3/NV check out Borderlands. It's super cheap and super fun! Also Far Cry 2 if you haven't played it yet is also quite awesome. It doesn't have RPG elements, but just like FO is an open world FPS with free roam enabled. Go where you want - do what you want... in ARFICA!!

I'd love to say "any RPG" too but there's some you can finish in 10-20 hours like Last Rebellion and Eternal Sonata but other than that yeah, lots of good ones
Atelier Rorona/Totori are really addictive and easy to pour a hundred+ hours into
Ar tonelico Qoga and Valkyria Chronicles a little less so but you'll have an AWESOME 100 or so hours with them

Then there's musou games, stuff like Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 or Trinity Souls of Zill O'ill would last ages too

'Star Ocean: The Last Hope International' apparently requires a staggering 500+ hours to complete.

The game itself isn't very long, but the Platinum requires 500 minimum.

Probably Monster Hunter Series you will almost have 1000 - 2000 hours of gameplay before you complete all armor sets and weapons

Gran Turismo 5. To reach level 40 in both A Spec and B Spec will take three times the amount it would take you to reach level 10 in GTA 4.

You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push

Mass Effect 2, not quite as long as Oblivion or Fallout but longer than GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption. You might also want to take a look at the Assassin's Creed games which have plenty to do and are a decent length without eating up your life.
